Default one plug right on , one black????????????

i though i had jetting issue when i went to the t5's but wen ipulled the plugs on had the tip burned completly off,(above electrode.) and was really black. after i changed plugs it runs like a top but now when i pulled the plugs the same burnt up one is allblack and wet and the other is just a very light tan color, carbs never gave a prob before and they are both jetted the same.

ur jetting isnt right did u check ur plugs before u change exhaust it could have been doing that before if not do a compression check

1989 RM 250 - bored .020" over and ported with a FMF fatty and silencer
1996 XR l00R - also being rebuilt putting a 120cc big bore hot cam full BBR exhaust and all new plastics along with paint job

yea the carbs are clean, and both are jetted the same,pilots are the same, and it has never sone this do im all lost on this now. my compression is nearly identical on both cylinders

well if thats tha case u jus might have to tune each cyl individually u kno or check to see if sumtin is missin on ur carb ive had a pilot jet come loose in my carb and i had a air skrew come off also while i was riding so anything is possible but u could try doing this get a can of carb cleaner start ur bike then spray tha base of tha jugs with carb cleaner and see if tha idle picks up if it does then u have a bad gasket
