So i pick up my new tires and new front sprocket today, take my tires to get mounted and will pick em up monday, and i go home and throw my 13 tooth front sprocket on and the chain saged alot so i was like okay ill just tighten er up, no thats not the case, i have to take a linbk out, i got the masterlink clip out but i cant get the connecter pins out, i dont have money to but a new chain so i cant cut it off, i need either a chain breaker i think, or a master link to replace the one if i cut it

please help, i was so excited to ride it with my new mods and now i am delayed even more

BTW this is a banshee chain for a banshee

check out rjatv, i think he sells masterlinks, plus he's got chains for like $38

yeah i think i am going to go the masterlink route, grind old one off and put a new one on -1 whole link

Just remember though "crazy" once you take that link out, i bet even when the adjuster is as loose as it goes the chain will be to tight, for real dude. But if thats the case just run it without the upper chain roller...no harm done by that and you will be up and riding in that damn sticky cow dung air in no time...LOL.

By the way what in all hell would you want to run a 13 tooth sprocket out there (no hills), dont you want to go fast bro?

man we got hills up the wahoo, trail riding like mad, unbelievable mud holes, all that fun stuff, we got some hills that are in like a valley, go through a mud hole then 5 feet out of the hole you gotta climb a 500 foot hill

i have so much slack in my chain, when i tighten it all the way i have 2 inches of play, all the way loose it rests up against the swingarm, enough slack to pull it off the rear sprocket by hand

just take a grinder to it and grind the edges odd and pop the pin out, you dont NEEd a chain breaker to take a link out, although they are nice

okay i took one link out and it was way to short, why is that lol i had 4 inches of slack when it was completely loose before i took one out, even with the lower chain roller out it wont connect, i guess ill just buy another master like and put it back to normal length, ill use a skateboard wheel as the bottom roller to kepp it a little tighter

2 inch of slack when it was completely tightend, 4 when i had it all the way loosend, then i get back from the dealer and they sold me a master link and it was to large of pins so now i need to wait till monday!

Why didn't you make sure the dumb ass's at the dealer sell you a 520 master link INSTEAD of a 530 dirtbike link....lol You crack me up.
