should a 4mm ported motor have more than 63 hp

dynoed my quad and 63 hp. its a 4mm dune ported motor with 35mm carbs cool head, cpi pipes. should it have alot more hp than this

What fuel and compression do run? advance the timing any? Doesnt sound too bad really for a dune port I can see you squeezing some more ponies out of the stock jugs though.

flotek gave me just a mild trail/mx port and he said i should be between 55-60 rwhp....

thats right in there,,, what does the torque curve look like.. at what peak rpm .. my trial port had 61 hp with 41ft of torque.. put alky in it

well keeop in mind every dyno is different that same engine could hit 73 o n another dyno ..its just a tool like anything fishing for a big number is a waste and will leave you disapointed ..how does it run ? is this thing hell on wheels and crisp ? ,id check a few key things like compression ...timing advance...airflow and most importantly jetting ...these can make or break an otherwise good setup .it shoudl wheely up like crazy and be a handful even i nthe higher gears id ask your builder what he thinks as far as setup and quoted output estimates . usually o na strong 4mm thats setup good on race gas its 70-80rwhp with somewhere like 38-43 lbs of torque .i usually dont make claims on power and if i do the yare conservative .typicaly o n a strong play port with mild pipes timing and compression for a 350 its around 60 rwhp and on a 4mill figure on rwhp 70

it is not a real big handful in the sand like i thought it would its hard to get it to wheelly after 3rd gear. the timing is at 5 and i dont know compression but it has good filters on it and jetting is really close. 63 hp is all we could get and even changed jetting did not matter. the builder said it has 127 transfer and 196 exhaust.

have to see i am going to see what the builder has to say and hope he will stand behind his work, im not really happy with it right know, if he wont do anything im goin to check it out and see what is done. i hope soon. after spend alot of money i hope he will help me out. it should have alot more power than it does for what he said is done. we will see. how about you.
