| I think what flotek is saying is you have to watch the "tuned length of the pipe" If you increase or decrease the stinger size before the theoretical tuned length it can change the performance. Basicly you can ran a much larger silencer after this tuned length has been met. But finding this length may be tough to figuire out because on pipes with a short stinger you can also use the silencers length to meet the proper legth as long as it does not change in size from the stinger. (I would guess most drag pipes with silencers are like this) |

its the final tip diamter i was refering too and yes the tuned length is different on about every pipe ,looks greta though i m sure ofr a play bike it will perform good on a variety of setups

| So the diameter of the endcap is made to accept the sparky? Curious to know decibal readings..

| yes climb it will fit a 2 inch sparky. if you take a 1 inch tube and cram air through it and then move up to a 1.5 inch out let your still only can have the volume of air going through that 1 inch as going through the 1.5 it will just be less velocity. which yes may effect some back pressure.. but you must take into account on the end of a fmf sst pipe the back cone reduces down to a 3/4 od tube.. and there silencer made just for the sst has a 1 inch od mid pipe.. i run one of my banshee with pro circuit pipes and im still pulling wheelies down the road in 4th and 5th gear.. but that must just be the port job 370 laid down for me.
