| I'm guessin the free travel your talking about is in your lever and that the adjustment screw is getting near the end? If it is I'd say it could be your clutch cable getting stretch out. I have an 04 banshee and had to replace mine already, so looking at the years of yours that would be my guess if you haven't changed them already.

| Are the points matching up top of the case when cable pulled? If not you might need to pull the clutch cover and adjust. I'd definately go for a new cable though! ![]()

| yes, it lines up and the clutch cable is new put it in when i did the clutch. The clutch has maybe 20 hrs. on it trail riding. don't slip it either

| When you check that alignment, screw your adjustment all the way in at the perch. Then use your finger to push in lightly on the lever at the cases and see where the marks hit. When you push in on the lever at the cases, push only until you feel some resistance. The point is to use the adjuster on the clutch to line up the marks, not your cable. ![]() |
