| How can i tell if it is just the port job making the compression that low? And how do i know which wiseco pistons to get? Last edited by P-man; 06-16-2008 at 08:34 PM. |

| 120 is good enough to run the bike. I would just ride it until you really notice a slump in power.

| at 120 u don`t need race gas. the cool head is a good modification I have installed it on my shee last year with 18cc domes and it gives me 173psi at 980ft of elevation and I found that it improved the cooling very good since the cooling chamber in the head is a lot bigger. its also a good mod over a shaved head has you change change the domes easily and the domes themselves are not too expensive(60$ for both i believe) and they have lots of sizes to chose from.

| ok, well how do i know what size domes to get? how much does it increase power? |

| I couldn't tell you exactly how much power it gives as i've never been able to dyno my quad and I'm no expert in the domain just a regular guy that did this mod. the dome size all depends on what kind of gas u want to run in your quad as u can vary the compression. I found that the 18cc dome gave me a good increase in power througout the powerband and gave my shee gain rpm faster. The coolhead design itself helped to keep my engine cooler when i played around in pits for a long time. I'm in Ontario Canada so I'm sure its a lot cooler here in the summer then in Texas so this will surely help you keep ur shee running cooler.

| 120 is fine and you can run her good, but if you have portwork then you would want the most compression out those cylinder to make that portwork happy. You can check out the Noss Machine website for dome & compression chart, check out sponsor RJATV who is a Noss dealer. He has those Cool Heads & Domes on deck!
