Default milled head vs cool or noss head

What is better for the money? milled head or a cool head? Does raising the compression really help that much?

Raising the compression helps low end torque and throttle response, and if you don't go too high, it'll help overall rpm too.

Either one can give you compression increase. The cool heads allow you to change that compression with diff cc domes.
Stock Head - Flotek mills those for a few bucks. He milled my stocker to .035 & it's a great mod.
Pro Design - You also have to change the cylinder studs to longer ones.
Noss Heads - Direct bolt on which I rather have + can get them from our site sponsor RJATV who is a Noss dealer.

I'll eventually have the Noss Head with two sets of domes, one set for pump gas on the trails & another set for those days I feel like drag racing on race fuel.

the only big adavntage i see by running a cool head is interchangable domes and ability to go very low in volume where a stock head can only be safley cut to get around 18cc but a coolhead can go much lower in cc which i n alot of cases in a must ,if you want to run pump gas and you like the sleeper look cutting a stocker is a good idea especially if your funds are low

On a fresh build it hits the 144ish. I'm not sure but if you mill more than what I have it might require to rechamber the domes.

Not sure on the price buy yeah, the are pricy! Then you have to buy the domes too!
One thing I never figured out is if they really make a big cooling difference over stock?
I've tried both and didn't recognize a difference. And you're right Denny, forgot bout that Charriot!
