You mean the dump tubes (or emulsion tubes) are drilled to .116. Here's what you need to do. Buy a brand new set of factory emulsion tubes from a dealer or from sudco.com or carbparts.com It will not run right on gas with them drilled to .116. You should be able to close the power jets for gas. You shouldn't need them. You need to run twice as much methanol through a carb as gas, they don't make jets big enough. It doesn't matter what size mains or pilots or needle you run for that matter, if the tube is drilled to .116, it's not going to run right on gas. It might idle ok, that's about it...once you get past 1/8 throttle...it'll be WAY FAT. Call Sudco.com, tell them what kind of carbs you have, and that you need new emulsion tubes for them because you're setting them back up for gas. They'll help you out.

oh sorry, i didnt mention that i already had another pair of normal column things or i guess "emulsion tubes" and that is what is in it with the 280's and 35's. it is set up on gas now, i just think that it is a little rich so i thought i would drop the pilot. i was also trying to basically ask how to switch back and forth form alky and gas in case i want to try alky some time.

Where is it rich, what throttle position? The pilot only effect idle to about 1/8 throttle...nothing more. You need to bump compression and bump timing for alky to work, you'll need a pingle dual feed fuel valve at the minimum for alky as well.

well it seems to bogg in the low end. and as i accelerate it slowely gets better and then it will open up in the top end. The builder of this buike did a lot of dragging i was told so it already has the dual fuel feed but i am not sure about timing. how do you change that. What would compression need to be at for alky?
