Make sure your stickers havent come off!!!

Alot of people DON'T lube there cables! You only need to do it maybe once a year, unless you ride in alot of water or sand, but it should be done. Make sure your clutch is adjusted properly, check for wear on pads, look for frayed wiring, chain tension, thats just some of the overlooked stuff. Check the torq on your chasis bolts and make sure all cotter pins are in place.....I could go on and on.......

clean the air filter !! i do it every ride, and it sure needs it, i know friends who dont clean theirs for months, screw that
tranny/clutch oil, change that pretty often, very 4-5 rides i change mine
i always check all major bolts before a big ride or weekend, front suspension, rear end, it only takes a second to put a wrench on all the bolts and see if they are tight, and could save injury or aggravation later on, i locktite my swingarm bolt and axle locknuts, both have a tendency to come lose without it
chain tension - on a banshee this is a bitch, i keep a couple different sprockets in my tool box, incase the chain is too lose, or too tight after breaking a link out, which is pretty common for banshees and their shitty chain adjustment, or lack of, and of course lube the chain
i pull both plugs out pretty much everytime i go riding, during lunch or something, just to make sure all is going well and both cylinders are running the same
check compression of the motor periodically also
also the rear hub nuts on the axle ends, i notice alot of people run with them basically falling off, only held on by the cottor pin, bad idea, keep them TIGHT, the cottor pin is only there for last resort, its not meant to handle all the stress, thats what the castle nut is for , mine sheared tghe cottor pin and my wheel flew past me on the trail in a puddled whoop section, NOT FUN, now i check them every ride
bearings - if you ride hard you will eat bearings in that rearend, especially those little shitty carrier ones, and the swingarm ones, they go fast, at least once a seeason
