Boost Bottle Question

How does the boost bottle work? Would it be possible to just use a hose connecting the two sides instead of the whole bottle?

I want to install a Pingel fuel valve on the tank and the boost bottle is in the way of the fuel lines. I can go under it if I have to but if I could get the bottle out of the way it would be better.

Do you mean the boost bottle doesn't do anything?

What it looks like to me is that it lets you pull the air/gas mix from both carbs at the same time for each side.

It sounds like your saying you don't need the boost bottle at all. Is that right ?

Ok, thanks for the info. Now I have to figure out how to plug the holes.

Don't use the boost bottle. Get the stock crossover tube for it.

Do a search on this Foose Bottle, you'll find nothing but negative responses for it because it's a waste of cash.
Throw it out bro, you don't need it and does not affect your performance. Real Boost bottles are blue with orange NOS letters on them!
