06 banshee jetting

My freind got new banshee and fmf fatty pipes power core2 silencers and dynojet jet kit. The problem is the jet kit recomends 280 main jet and to move the clip on the needle to the fourth position. The FMF pipes came with 260 main jet and wants stock needle setting and a 30 pilot jet (not included). I am not sure which way to go. Could you please let me know.

Why buy a jet 'kit' if the exhaust (only mod i take it?) comes with the perfect jetting for it?


280 main jet would be for a exhaust + intake....

Read the instructions with the dynojet kit, what mods are it for?

yes so far it is only mod . he wants k&n filtter .

Some companies use 'stages' to throw everyone into the same box. Like intake + exhaust would be stage 1. Maybe add in ignition and reeds is stage 2, then porting etc is stage 3...

But really a 'Stage' is just a made up 'list of mods' to put everyone into a cookie cutter type group.
