Default Loud ticking noise, while blaster is running.

Ok just bought a 2002 blaster, and I am experiencing a loud ticking noise while the engine is running. It sounds like something in the engine is rattling. The oil light is also on when I run the engine. Any ideas of what the problem could be?

do not run the machine anymore...you must fill the 2 stroke oil container..its under the seat...if you dont and continue to run it the engine willmelt/seize...(be destroyed).
