ball joint R&R/ blaster for sale

ok, i decided to stop investing money into my blaster and sell it. i attempted the hyrdaulic brake upgrade to find out that the stock a arms do not match banshee/warrior spindles. so i returned to the stock brakes. now i have been having a problem with my lower ball joints on my a-arms, they spin when i try to tighten the nut, i tried prick punching them to stop them from spinning but i found no luck in that method. are the ball joints replacable? it looks like i'd have to grind the bottom of them to press them out if so. are they replaceable? and if not does anyone have any stock a-arms i could try? i need help! im trying to sell this machine, if no one can answer my questions i'd atleast like some offers to purchase the blaster. my sport bike now takes presidence over the blaster! check out the sig i know i've missed some stuff in there that i've replaced. it runs great! thanks.....

Well, Banshee ball joints have two flat sides where you can slide in a thin wrench or so to hold in place while messing with the nuts. I don't have a Blaster but I imagine it might be the same?

that would be conveinent, but i removed the little rubber boot and there are no flat spots to use a wench on. what a pain in the ass this has been....

would vise grip needle nose pliers hold it down?? Can you get in there with something like this http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...TOOL&ihtoken=1

push on the ball joint and put the nut on. You need a little pressure on the ball joint to get it to go.

i think i forgot to mention my problem is that i have also screwed up the threads on the ball joint....

i'd say your best bet would be to get a cheap set of used a-arms on ebay. I lucked out and got a set of both upper and lower a-arms for $40. they was a little dirty and greasy but all the ball joints were tight. I just cleaned em up and put a coat of black paint on em and they turned out great. heres a pic

does anyone happen to know the thread dia and pitch for the lower ball joint, my friend just reminded me to try to chase the threads before i try anything else.
