I am buying a 1999 blaster with a blown top end. I was going to put a KX80 motor in it but I was wondering what kind of mods I would have to do to make it fit?

I wouldn't do it unless you are like 10yrs old an wanna race a specific class.

I have an 05' with a 240 kit for racing and I wanted something that can blaze trails without blowing up.

well your not going to blaze trails with only a kx80 motor in it, iv heard of people doing it with kx125's but the clutches are supposed to burn up pretty quick from the extra weight and its not the best because of the no low end.....id say get a kdx200,220 or a kx 250 to stuff in it...or just fix the stock motor.....they arent really known for blowing up, is the oiler still hooked up or do you premix?
