Default Blaster Rear Brakes

Are the 03' and up hydraulic rear's a bolt-on for older models, or is some modification required?

I'm not a blaster guy but I'm fairly positive that I read that you had to have the rear master cylinder mounts welded to the older frames. I'm not sure about anything else.

I am not sure, but I don't think it is a bolt on and go situation. I would say there is some welding before. blasterzone.com does however make a kit that can be bolted right on. I am pretty sure that there is no welding required with the blaster zone kit.

i put on some on my wife's you have to change the brake pedal (MINOR FABRACATION) weld tabs for the master cylinder and resoirvor, and also have to weld a mount on the carrier for the caliper. it's kinda of a bitch.

hes talking about the 03 and up hydraulic rear brakes, but the banshee or warrior brakes could be installed in a similar manner. I put hydraulic brakes on mine using a Honda CBR600f2 sportbike front caliper and rear master cylinder, resivoir, and brake line. Had to do a litttle welding and make a braket for the caliper, but it is well worth it.
