tricked blaster....why?

Ok, so i was looking through the blaster pics in the sticky and there are some pretty bad-ass blasters out there. this might sound like a stupid question, but why would you dump that much money into a blaster for a bigbore kit, porting, and all that jazz when you could just start with a faster bike? Not to poke shit at anyone, i love all your guys tricked out blasters.

I'm pretty sure that you can make a blaster into a pretty crazy machine if one felt like it.

Why, WHY NOT thats what i ask. I get no bigger trill than to blow mister banshee's doors off down the track. you really dont need a big bore kit just a good port job. so lets do the math new banshee bout $6500, pipes $650, reeds $250, whats that bout $8,000. Now for the blasty new $3,000 pipe $300 reeds 120, port work $200 nowthats bout less than $5,000. And my blaster is smokin that banshee. and even better than that is beatin mister i just bought an $8500 YFZ 450R on my buget racer. ut in the end its all what you want to spen your money on. I have a little over $10,000 invested in my blaster i will never get that back out from it. Thats not why i built it, I built it to have the fastest stock chassis blaster in the country( I couldn't aford the fastest stock chassis banshee). At this years planet sand in april I plan on gettin the record. that is why i spen he money on a blaster.

Im planning on doing a blaster just because it seems like a cool budget build and would be fun.And you can make it pretty damn fast for short money.i think im going to do a 240 ported and stroked.

I plan on getting my daughter a Blaster, then build it up as she grows up.
She will grow... the bike will have to grow too! Perfect for her.

yeah its a great investment that is for sure.....i only have $1800 in mine....and it was well worth it!! IMO

because people look at it and see a tiny little air cooled quad, but not knowing how fast it rele if because they think well ots only a 200 so its gotta be slow.. untill it flys by them
