blaster stroker

I have bored out my blaster .04 over and noticed the rod bearing is loose, instead of putting a new rod and bearing on it how much will i gain if i put a +3mm stroker crank in it? is it noticable power gain?

yes it is extemely noticeable.you must have the ports matched to the stroker though to get maximum power.get it,i think its well worth it.

I think Vitos says 4+ ponies just throwing it in...Im not sure about that tho.

Hell yeah its worth it but you must have the ports mached and the head cut to the extra stroke to get the most optimum potential from it. You must also get the cases trenched(cut out) for the extra stroke also. I would not suggest the vito's suffer crank cause inorder for the crank to get stuffed into the crank case without trenching they shave off the bottom of the rod bearing. Less bearing quicker wearing out.

yeah. if it were me i'd get the 3mm stuffer crank. no trenching = less money spent. if yer willing to pay then just buy a beefier crank like a +6 or something.

yeah. the stuffer crank is like putting on a good pipe. noticeable like that.

you have to have an uncut jug tho cuz the portwork has to match the extra swing.

So what do you think is a good stroker set up to buy then?

Go with the 3mm. i know Myself and others have had nothing but good luck with them.

everyone is entitled to their opinion i guess. Im just going by what ive exprienced with the Vito's 3mm stroker. I can understand why he's anti-vitos 240 BB kit...If you want some real good power...Go stroker and big bore....Totally worth the money IMO..(make sure you run CT racings jug or Trenga's if you have the money..although a vitos can be made into a power plant if ported correctly)

Yea well when i find a blaster im going with the vitos. Ill just have it ported im sure you can pull some good power out of it if it is done right like you said. Im still unsure about what stroker kit ill go with and if ill do it more then 3mm. I still have to learn about it to really understand. Also budget is going to be big in my blaster build cause my banshee and 250r eat all my damn money...
