Default New toy maybe

Well whats happenen. I am thinkin about picking up a polaris sport 400cc two stroke. It is a 99 in decent shape the finders have been sand cut and the back has a crack in it, but not to bad. It has a fmf pipe, 38mm TMX flat slide carb, fresh top end with some port work. It was put in 6 months ago along with a high tourque higher rev stall converter for the CVT. My buddy asking $1500-$1700 for but will give it to me for $1300 cash tomarrow. What do yall think?

Well let me give the rest of the story ME and My wife are expexting are second child in March. My fish child my daughter is 6 goning on 7 and can ride. she had a fity but it broke after awhile (it was free). I came into $1300 to spend. So I was goin to buy her a bigger bike, I found a LT 80 with a pipe port work paddles real real clean. The guy wanted $1500 I could get him down to 1300. So I though ok, but my daught er is real tall, and I took her to a dealer ship a she sat on an 80 and was already to kinda to tall kramped. I need this bike to last a couple of years and she is already gettin kinda to big for it. Then I found a real clean 99 polaris explorer 300 4x4 two stroke for around the same price. It;s an auto so there is no clutch and with some help she'll ge the hang of it in no time. But then I came into this Polaris sport 400. I bought my wife a Warrior to ride but she really doesn't like the whole clutch thing all the time. I halve also made my Blaste a trake bike olny and I still love to booney jump so I take my wifes warrior all the time and she doesnt have any thing to ride and I dont always like riding my duaghter with me cause I BEAT THE HELL OUT HTE WARRIOR. I MEAN I BEAT THAT BEIOCH LIKE IT OWS ME MONEY. My wife likes to rid e with me and she can't ride an 80. But my duaghter cant really ride a 300 or 400 ya know. My wife is really jazzed about an auto bike and likes the sporter sport 400 over the explorer 300. With it being an auto it would be easer to ride my duagter cause its just push and go no clutch. That and the resale value on name brand mini quades like LT 80's have plumeded kinda since the Yamamoto's have flooded the market and it will only get worse. And I fig at wors I'll get at lest what i got in to the 400 back out of it. Maybe?

So I guess back to the topic anyone know realy any thing about the sport 400. I am goiin to ride it tomarrow. I know they have CVT trans. I'm not exspecting the world but it sounds like a nice dune bike. Hell it's a 400cc two stroke with a pipe carb and port work. Push and go. Does $1300 sound like a good deal? let me know what yall think in a hurry if you dont mind im tight on time. Thanks for reading my long post and any input would be a big help. Just let me know if you anythig about it

I dont know about slow. We did some work on my buddies Xplorer 400 and made that thing rip. Skip theres some company out there that makes some nice aftermarket parts for scramblers. I forget what site it is tho. and yamaha rider...we can get that Xplorer(yes its a utility) to stand straight up and with it being an automatic you can ride it out for a long time. just goes to show... ANY TWO STROKE HAS POTENTIAL!!!
