Default bad compression

i have about 40psi of compression could it be head gasket or piston rings

Wasnt this answered in your other post? Probably not a head gasket because they are copper and dont blow easily. Nuts could have loosened on the head though did you check? probably need rebuilt. All this was taken from your other post. Good luck.
