| Since you wont be needed the grab bar im sure you can use the mounts for them for your wheelie bar. If you can weld really good id put a bracket on your axle carrier.

| sounds like a good idea, i was thinking of using the grab bar, and welding it to my rear caliper mount, but the axle carrier might be good. |

| just throwing up the idea. Im in the process of designing one right now too.

| Leave wheelie bars to the professionals. Or you might endup looking like a shica-bob. Sounds good to make your own but its harded than it looks. If you do want to build one the grab bar mounts will work but do not use your caliper bracket you need to mount it on the axle carrier like Blue said. Blue your my boy! sorry had to let it out. Also do not use mild steele you will kill your self when it breaks. |

| what kinds of metal should i use. radius rods. round tubing? 1/4 inch steel? solid round steel? |

| i'd guess you could use something simple like some 1 inch tubing, just make all your welds really strong, use a good mig welder, and after you get it designed out weld in a bunch of gusset plates for bracing and support.

| CROMEOLY(i thinks thats how its spelled). Do not use steel at all. the best way to put it is steel is to soft and when it bends it stays bent. It doesnt spring back. After a couple hard runs your wheelie bar will look like a big S or Z. then the next step is you having a bar though your back like a shishca-bob. You need to use cromeoly. |

| CHROMOLY, yes i know what that is, What size diamter should my weelie bar me, and how long, 36 inches? 1inch diamter? 5/8inch ? please tell me how long my weelie bar should be, and what size diameter. thanks |
| ||||||||||||
| its going to be diffent angles. ok the bottom weelie bar ( from carrier to back) how long, should that be? 4ft ( 48inch ) , and i think from the carrier to the garb bar is like 2-3 feet. so the top weelie bar ( from grabbar to back) should be what? 7-9 ft. basically, all i want to know is how long its going to exstend out from the bottom ( carrier). how long does it have to be so that my wheels up front wont come up off the ground, and if they do the wheels on my weelie bar will stop them? i was thinking like maybe 4-5 feet, but i dont know if that long enough, help me out here? thanks i can get 1/2inch chromoly tubing that has a wall thickness of .035, for 2.85 bucks per ft, or 1/2 OD with a thickness of .058 for 3.64 bucks per ft |
