question about upper a-arms

I have a question about the blaster upper a-arms on the early year models with the drum front brakes. its got a odd looking ball joint that doesnt bolt on to the spindle, but instead it uses like a clamp fixture thing to hold it onto the spindle.
so my question is, would the early model upper a-arms work with banshee spindles or would I need to get a 03 or newer upper arm that has the regular threaded balljoint to work with the banshee spindles?

you can modify the spindle to accept those a-arms, drill the upper ball joint hole to 9/16"...or 14mm. then drill a hole in the side, 3/16 i believe, tap it and install a pinch bolt that way. or you could get burgard a arms, they use banshee tapered heim joints on them.
