| I was out today and decided to start up my blaster. I put it in gear so that I could spin the back tires forward becasue of the snow and I don't want them to dry rot. When I stopped and went to put it in neutral it went straight to 2nd. I tried moving them a little more because sometimes that helps but it didn't I even tried reving it up because that also helps sometimes but that didn't work either. The only thing I did different to it was recently I changed oil from super tech (wal-mart oil) to Pennzsoil thanks for any help in advance

| i agree , clutch plates or clutch basket, cold weather can do that, its probly worth taking the side case off to inspect the basket to see it it has grooves in it, also might check shift linkage spring etc etc |

| What exactly would I be looking for? I don't have much experience with clutches and clutch baskets.

| what i would do first is do the same thing that you already did, let the bike warm up and spin the tires again, if it still misses neutral, than look where the clutch plates contact the clutch basket, grooves eventually end up on the basket and makes it harder for the plates to slide in the basket when engaging and disengaging, others might have some other suggestion or things to check |

| Alright I got what you mean but I'll probly have to wait until it warms up do to the fact that I have nowhere to work but thanks for the help
