| can you explain a little more? do the screws tighetn but the stator assembly still moves? if you put some washers on the screws would it tighten it better without allowing it to move? pics may help

| no, when there tightened all the way they have no play, its just before i tighten them like with the screws just hand threaded in, there is some play side to side all the way up to the point of when i tighten em down, then there isnt any what im askin is, cant this cause me to advance and retard my timing without even knowing it its not an adjustable one, its just the stock plate, and its not damaged so idk
