Default 99 blaster compression question

We ran the oil out of the blaster, didnt seem to cause any major problems. Anyway, i installed my oil injection block off kit and cleaned out the carb. After i put it all together I have no power in first gear or any gear for that matter. It will rev high and nice in nuetral and with the clutch pulled BUT as soon as i put it into gear and try to take off it launches fine, but bogs down at a certain rpm. I disabled the TORS system, checked the carb and plug. The plug was wet and black, and I checked the compression. All i did was put my gauge in the spark plug hole and kick it and it came up like 60-70 each time. If id kick it again w/o resetting it itd go up to like 90. I checked everything else, the reeds are fine, and the mix is good at 32:1. I wanna know if it was trashed b4 i did any of that stuff to it. Let me know.

I agree. If you ran it very long at all without oil you've got some damage to the piston and probably the cylinder. Since it still runs the cylinder may not be that bad, you may get away with a hone job and a new piston/ring set of the same size. If the cylinder walls are scoured very much you probably want to bore to the next size.

after you test and your compression ends up being okay higher than 120 and fine... but your bike still bogs at half or 3/4 throttle, whatever, then it could be a jetting issue.... too rich, too lean...... or your bike isn't getting enough air... check the air filter...

3 kicks and the gauge read 120 exactly. Its gotta be something in the carb. Runs fine in neutral and clutch in, revs high, takes off, bogs half way through 1st gear. Help
