I am running 50 pilot 145 main. But my 28mm has been bored to 30.3mm and motor is built. I hope this may help. I would start rich and work my way down.

I have a stock carb bored out to 28. bought it used and haven't installed. so I don't know how it runs. but you can do a plug chop to figure out if you need to go up or down.

I still cant get it to idle. I did something I should not have done. I rebuilt motor used vitto's superstock piston.I put 3/8 reed spacer with V- Force 3 reed cage.I also bought a 28mm pwk carb. Then installed a Procircut pipe and silencer. Everything stock I ebayed. So I have know way of putting stock stuff on to see if it will idle. I called yamaha to see how much they would charge they told me 38.00hr and may take a while to get it to run. Like 2 weeks at working on it 4hrs a day.I know there is somebody out there that has a common set up like mine. I just need to bounce ideas off you and we can figure it out. So please help . Im losing hope for my blaster.

if its gona take them 40+ hours to get a blaster tuned in, they have serious issues and should probably consider another career

Mine is pretty much the same except ported milled and cahmberd. the rest is the same. Mine is a keihin with 50 pilot 145 main. air mixture screw is 1 1/2 turns out. Have you tried to adjust the idle screw? Will it start at all?

I tried today a 50 pilot with 145 main. It still wont idle.It is also blowing oil out of pipe. Running but way to rich. I even moved the needle up to highest position. There was no change.I got it to run real good with 45 piolt and 135 main. I can put the front wheels up in 1st three gears. With no bogging. Just cant seem to get it to idle. I can choke it and even screw idle screw all the way in. No change. Could THORS be a problem not letting it idle? All I did was unplug it from old carb. Before I tore it apart you could give it gas it would rev high then kick itself down slowly to idle using rev box. It dose not do that at all anymore. Maybe Im crazy but I am running out of things to try. I got frustrated with it today but will try the air leak test next. Thank you guys for your advise. The help is much appreciated.
