i have a yamaha 200 1986 and it smokes bad a white smoke i dont now y and i thaink i put to much oil in and it is a 4 cycle engine and brand new oil

Oil is probably leaking past the rings or valves. You do realize this is a 2-stroke forum right? Do you have some 2-stroke bikes as well?

i'd check the valve clearance. 86? that's air cooled right?

ya i relise this is a 2 stroke place and i have a pocket rocket

New set of rings an hone it, that will solve your prob. if it was the valve seals then it would only smoke when it starts up then stop.

i havent run it that much i did pour to much oil in i forgot on how much to add but on start up how long would that be
