i am thinking of porting my cylinder myself, can anyone give me some pointers? After studying some pictures if before and after port jobs it really doesnt look that hard, or do people just make it look easy?

it is not easy.you first must understand how the 2 stroke motor works.and what needs to be cheanged.shapes, hieghts, angles and textures all play an important role.

chris (370banshee) or denny (eviltwin) are both great with a portin tool my trail shee is ported by chris and it runs real hard.... dont do it yourself! if you want to learn read up on it then try it out on some junk cylinders first but I would leave it to someone with the know how
