Default Blaster wiring problems

I just got done taking the wiring harness off my blaster and cutting out wires that i dont need. the only wires that i took off are the wires that go to the oil resivoir because it has been removed, the headight and taillight wires, cuz they have also been removed, and a red plug that has a blue, black, and yellow/red wire connected to it. I dont kno what this plug goes to because it wasnt hooked up to anything. Anyways, now the quad fires right up, but i have a tether kill switch and it wont kill it now. Do any of you have any suggestions on what to try? The wiring harness also looked like some of the wires were spliced together also, if this means anything, but it ran b4

Does anybody have any clue where to start trying to figure this problem out? I already looked at the repair manual that i downloaded off the internet and in the electrical section it doesnt even mention a blue wire? Also it ran b4 with out any of the wires that i cut off connected to anything

There are two blue wires if I remember right. One is spliced into the main harnes to the yellow/red wire (it go to the lighting coil) and then the blue wire goes to the voltage regulator. And the other goes from the light switch to the taillight.

The Blue wire has to do with the tailight.
