i was wondring im rebuilding my top end im not going to bore my cylinder it looks good and i think i can get away with it is the anything else i should to do to the cylinder before i put the new pisons in

you should hone it to make sure your rings seat properly

mic the cylinder to make sure its not out of round or worn too bad, but hone it

Why are you putting a new piston in? If you have a machine shop near you i'd have the cylinder honed, and they can check the bore to see what the piston to cylinder clearence is, then they could tell you. You most likely can skip the bore though. Make sure to clean that jug with hot water & dish soap before you install the new piston!!! Use some two stroke premix oil to rub onto the cylinder wall & piston after the wash and before the install!!! Good luck

Let a machine shop do the hone for you, it not 100% nessicary, How many hours did you run that last piston?

ya i have a machine shop near me he said i can get away with out boring it i was going to have him hone it but he was so busy he said he could not do it for 2 weeks and he is the only machine shop near me so i didnt no if i could get away with it
