left the blaster sitting outside

well for the last 2 weeks i left my brothers blaster outside while i was wrenching on the shee.Last night i started it up to run it and it started fine but its acting wierd. it revs nice and has nice topend and bottom end for the 1st 3 gears and after that you wont even hit the powerband.And the thing is my brother has been at a relatives house in florida and is coming back on the 25th and i dont wanna hear him whine about me breaking his bike so anyhelp is appreciated. the main jet is at 260 while the pilot is the same

yea it was originally at 230 but notched it up to the 260 it runs fine for the 1st 3 geys and hits the powerband fast but 4th and up it takes forever to hit it. 1-3rd acceleration is real nice but 4th up feels like you skipped a gear and ur at low rpms

is the air filter clean? and did it rain or snow or anything on it? have you tried a new spark plug?

airfilter is clean i even took it off to see if would run better but no luck i havent tired a new plug yet but im going to rite now

How much did the temps change? from 230 to 260 seems like an awfully big change for weather, I ride in temps from mid 70's down to mid 20's from 3200' to 6000' feet and I don't think I have ever gone more than 3 jet sizes up or down. Did you just change the jet or do you know it was running fine with that jet before?

ya that sounds like a fat change to me but did it run fine with that 260 before you left it out side

new plug and fresh fuel is what you should try first

Does it have the stock pipe on it?
