Toomy exhaust question....

So I got a b1 on the blaster, and it kicks ass! But today I noticed that the rubber thing that connects the expansion pipe to the silencer pipe has deterioated. When cold and chocked I noticed delicious 2 stroke exhaust wafting up between my legs...it seems to seal when warm but that doesn't negate the fact that it needs to be replaced. Anyone know of hand where to get one or wht size it is? I thought about using some radiator hose? Sound like it would work or is that to ghetto?

hell ya radiator hose is fine with a hose clamp on each side or silicone is good also

no prob easy fix If anything the hose thing is CHEAP .. like $5.. or something like that.. idk I picked it up from a shop. So w/e works works..

Ohh.. I want your toomey pipe.. lol I already have the silencer

Yeah just use radiator hose and some clamps.

silcone is better, itll hold up to the heat and not melt, rubber will melt at a lower temp. but i doubt it will get hot enough to melt, silcone is more exp, the hose on mine feels like silcone. buy a billit one on ebay, if your old one is just leaking arould the pipe and its still intacted just buy 2 hose clamps and clamp on both sides, that would cost the least

i tried silicone hose on mine and it melted so i got one of those aluminum ones off ebay....i looked at it and it was a piece of aluminum wrapped around the same kind of silicone hose that i used previously, so it melted too. Your best bet is just to buy the piece from yamaha, i have been using one for about 6 weeks, which is about six times as long as the other two combined lasted. it is really up to you though.

pop can and 2 clamps sould cheep, i got a new b1 system , it looks like silcone, must not be. ill remeber that, call toomy
