Ok j/k but yeah make it stop.. I need a killswitch of some type for the blaster.. Not the one with the light switch or w/e (I don't have lights and dont want the extra switches) I'm hoping to find the key switch with key b/c the wiring is screwed up and my friend is saying he should be able to ring the key switch into the wiring pretty easily.

I would have put this in the "wanted" thread but I'm wanting opinions or solutions for a kill switch..

Take the light switch off the wall in your bedroom, wire it up. Problem solved!

I have some of those switches that are new.. but ha ha I'm serious I don't want it rigged up that bad.. I have a toggle switch but I need something that would be safe in the weather.. I thought of putting it under the seat but I need something I can shut off in case something happens..

EDIT] I mean I have a toggle that could be put on it.. currently it has NOTHING to shut it off other than pulling the plug wire or stalling it..

yeah it's a good idea in thought but I don't need to go spending that kind of money for something and the wiring is somewhat hacked up so it would probably be hard to wire it up.. if not.. then I might not mind buying one but only if someoen had something CHEAP.. but good suggestion.

i know where you can get a tether kill switch for extremly dirt cheap all you need is a pair of sissors.......ok here is how you do it......


1) Find the Nearest shoe

2) pull the shoe lace tight then cut at the very bottm

3) remove the hood of your blaster an tie it around the white wire with a red strip through it

4) now let it hang overtop your handbars an put the hood back on

5) Now tie the shoe lace to your wrist

WAAALAAAA you now have a tether killswitch on your blaster!!!

(This can be used on many other atvs!!)

didn't I mention the wiring is all hacked up unless you mean the sparkplug wire that aint gonna work

be non redneck friendly ... I'd be fine with it personally.. but It needs to be something that is ok for future riders.. just something mounted to the bars as an on/off (I'm hoping someone has the ket mount with key) but some kind of weather safe.. easy reach thing that's not all rigged up bad :P
