Default trail bike

alright guys...........i've got an 04 blaster with toomey pipe and silencer, 290 mainjet, and thats about it on the motor and i was wonderin what i could do for more performance in the trails.......i'm getting ready to rebuild the top end and do some freshening up of the bike.....chain, fluid, gaskets, clutch, brakes, bearings......any ideas on something cheap and relatively easy?

well one of the easiest ways to make the bike much more trail friendly is to give it more lowend. a easy way to do that is to advance the timing and mill the head to increase the compression. and also porting which im sure everybody will also tell you.

i've heard everyone talking about milling the head.........what exactly is it and do i just take it to a machine shop.....also what would that do to my air/fuel and jet size?
