Default Clutch question

Basically, i tighten everythign up fire it up, and it runs great, then when i run it for a couple laps, the clutch has no tension in it, when i put the clutch together i didnt tighten the spring screws all the way, i left them one turn loose, could the vibrations be loosing them, and would that be the problem?
Thanks
