Default vitos 240 kit

bought vitos 240 kit for my wifes blaster.has anyone owned the 240 kit with stock carb fmf pipe and header also has vitos stroker in it.just wondering what she can expect out of it?any ideas???

I dont have any exp with them and i knwo a lot of guys dont like vitos but from what i hear they can be pretty good with some port work as far as the cranks go there is quite a few guys on here that run the 3 mill vitos and have no probelms with them. I would get some porting on teh 240 and i think you will be very happy. Talk to flotek i believe he has worked with them before. Also please make your avatar bigger so i can see it better lol

She can expect a white knuckle ride if ported properly. Like said above, talk to flotek.

SO WITH OUT PORTING AND A STOCK CARB THERE should still be a significant gain right?im sure it will pull hard in the lower range and b a turd up high

It will run but, you probably wont get that excited about it. Porting is where its at, especially with the vitos jug. Floteks prices are good, I'd check him out if I were you.

i aint sure how to enlarge my avitar THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENT. she is my wife, her name on here is sugarcoated.as soon as i get her bike running we will post some badazz wheelie pics!she is an animal!!! her motor has popped 4 times on an 06 blaster!and i dont have the money at this time to get the head ported.do u have any pics of a blaster ported head?

an unported 240 kit isnt much a gain. Just gives it a more torquey feel, but as far as an actuall gain I'd say a good pipe would do just as much as an unported 240. Get it ported, thats where the power is hiding.

i would guess it would only increase power by around 5 horse or so ,usaully the bigger bore and added stroke will be felt in lowend mostly ,probably instead of 17 rwhp youd have low 20's ,the 26mm roundlside stock carb is really going to be choking it dow nthough id look at a 34 or 35 mm pwk keihin even if its not ported
the new displacment would equal 244cc witha big bore kti and a +3mill stroke

what do they port? obviously the intake which isnt to hard and the exaust and clean up the area on bottom of the cylinder where the crank gets fed. I have done some match porting on automoble heads. I was looking at the cylinder yesterday and wondering how the hell it works?when does which chamber fil etc...
