| if you havent figured it out yet i am currently building a blaster. the whole bike is in torn dow as for as you can get it, and i am overhauling the whole thing, and painting it while its apart. the cylinder is being ported and polished as we speak and i am ordering stuff and gathering all my parts. The fram is pretty much done and i am now focusing on the engine. i want to get some aftermarket reeds, and am considering the boyesen power reeds. my question is what make them different from the stock reeds, and how do they give you more power? my second question is about jetting, i am guessing i will have to fatten it up because of the port job and stuff. a 260 with the needle on the richest notch was dam near perfect before, so where should i be now? im gonna be making a trip to the store and want to know about what sizes i need to pick up. sorry for the long post, any help appriciated. |
