| i dont think it being polished would make it run hotter. what makes em overheat it gettin mud and stuff caked on them soe they cant dissipate the heat. id say as clean as it is youd probably run cooler. just my $.02

| Not that i think it will matter if its polished or not but i was watchin horse power tv or one of those shows a couple weeks ago and they where talking baout chrome and i think polished motors and how the dont disapate heat as well as a all black motor would. Which i though was weird since black attracts light but they said an all black motor would disipate the heat better.. But im sure if you run it right you should have a problem with heat..

| I SECOND THAT, black disapates heat more efficinetly. i had a black drum brakes on my car verses the white and i checked them with a thermo laser and they would run about 20 degrees cooler. i made the same block with very few variables done 3 times. black came out on top. i am in the process of polisheing my case right now, but i will leave the head and cylinder black. nice engine by the way! |

| Well if it runs alittle hotter, I can deal with that. I just don't want it to overheat and seize
