Default blaster problems im new to theres and i like em

hey i just baught a 1991 blaster last week and it would only ideal it would rev up a tiny bit but if i put it into gear it would stick at the ideal speed and stall the top of the carb was stirpped so i had to get a new carb i just put the new carb onto it and it does the same thing it will rev to what i think is about half maby 1/4 throttel has anybody had this problem before im in need of some serious help here

P.S
the killswitch is not hooked up and the ignition is missing and the T.O.R.S wires from the throttel box were cut and the wires that come from the T.O.R.S are not hooked up to anything does anybody know what im lookin at here??

welcome to the site. the wires that plug into the carb should be wired together and the same with the ones at the throtle. what mods does it have and what is the jetting. may be just a tors problem

its ok i got it runniing the exhaust was plugged but now it takes a very long time to hit power band i think it is the power valves what do you guys think

sounds like your blaster had some nigro riggin done to it.
you should check the jetting and also the reeds also check the spark plug, it is worth the few seconds it takes to check it.

id check your reeds and your jetting...make sure your reeda rent broke or cracked and they are flat on the cage

change the stock carb out with 28m keihn carb or get the blaster carb and get it bored out to a 28 they come stock wit 26

i think he needs to get it runnign first before he starts thinking about a bigger carb.
