Hot!!!

well i got my blaster to run and rev but it takes forever to hit power band and once you get above 3rd gear it loses all power and when it revs down just before it gets to idel it pings once or twice and revs back up a little bit and finally it gets extreamly hot in less than 4 min it feels like its had 7 hours of non stop riding done

mine also seemes to get hot QUICK also and when revving down it pings O.o

run higher octane...premium gas and get the jetting dialed in...sounds like u might be lean

i had the plug out today and it was wet and black??

and to the jetting comment i just got a brand new carb and the quad is bone stock

i was lookin threw my manual last night and it said something about mixing oil for an air cooled motor im currently just using regular pump gas and mixing oil i have for my cr 125 could this oil be causing me to overheat??

runn premo gas and mix it at 40-1 or 32-1 whatever your doing now.

Aslo the plug may look wet or dark untell you take it out and do a wot test.

In blasters, don't you just run straight gas, since stock they have that mixer on them?
If so, are you using pre-mixed gas?
