Default Not getting fuel

I went out riding today to adjust my rear shock and all of the sudden my engine died, i shook my quad and could hear gas in the tank. I looked at my fuel filter and there wasn't any gas in it. I just took my petcock apart a few weeks ago and it was clean so i dont think thats the problem, my vent seems to be working and even when i took the lid off the tank it didnt start flowing. This is the second time this has happened and its really pissing me off.Any ideas on what this could be, tomorrow I guess I'm taking my petcock out again and double checking, and i might try and find some clear fuel line.

so i fixed the problem, turns out it was a bad fuel filter, when this happened the first time i took it off and tried flushing it out with carb cleaner, but i think that melted the fibers in the filter together, now i have a paper filter so i dont have to worry about that.
