03 Blaster - Rev Problems

Bought 03 Blaster with Rev problems. Changed reeds, new carb (old one was corroded), tried new CDI box, disconnected TORS. Still cannot rev it up. When I give it gas, it doesn't backfire or shut down. It just makes a little deeper sound but will not rev up. It idles fine. I can ride the clutch and it will go, but there is only one speed in each gear. Previous owner said he could hear it sucking air. He also said it had the 250 kit installed. I don't know if any of this is true.

Did you jumper the wire at the tors where you removed it?Or just cut the wire and connect them together.Also make sure you disconnect the EM parking brake sensor and the one in the throttle body

Does it still have the parking brake switch hooked up? Did you unplug the tors box or just unplug it at the carbs?

You mean thru the airfilter right & yes that's ok.. It's supposed to do that.
What 250 kit is he talking about? Stock stroke?? Get the 411 on that kit!!

its probably just bored .050 over and he calls it a 250 kit.
