Default Overrides and Lock Ups

ive decided to leave the bike i already have together.
i'm gonna build something from the ground up. ( i can't believe it either - i'm a poor single mom) but anyway....

the motor i'm doing is going to need an override trans.

who cuts gears for a blaster override trans?

and is there an option for a duneable override trans? or are they all straight overrides?

and the same question for a Lock Up Clutch and Cover...who and where?

WCR will cut you a duneable override transmission and for the lock out clutch get ahold of RDZ or Direct drive. You might have to moddify the case yourself but I think RDZ might do it for a pretty penny

u just have to modify the cutch cover like on a shee right? we were talking about her balster last night an came to the conclusion that putting this motor in her balster woudl be a waste because we'd pretty much be replacing everything.. then she said shes wants to beat up on some bigger bikes... so it's time to build a completely new bike.. the engine is sqaured away except for a cut trans and lockout.. i guess we'll start collecting parts here soon and get it all PCed up real girly... haha

I'm not really sure you'll see 70 rwhp out of a blaster unless its 300cc's and up and on alky, but after all that is it really a dune bike? I'll be making around high 50's to low 60's on gas, but this motor is one of the more built blasters out there, Lots of custom work into it. I just wish we could run alky at my track, Cause then I would be closer to that 70hp range (probably more like mid to high 60's)

d o you see 250rs making 70 horse o n alky very often ?do yo usee them amking 60 true hp often ?..nope ,i say this because its often never what you thin kit will be ,nothing wrong with optimism though ,a peak high rear wheel dyno number means very little and the computer software estimate is just pretty much a guesstimate assuming yo u have the perfect comb o of this and pefect jetting cfm compressio n velocity volume timing gearing and perfect that ...yo u can change minor things like your sprockets and tires or eve n the humidity i n the dyno area and it wl l read dfiferent numbers. the software msot liekly will not account for alot of important performance details .fran i relaize youd want a dunable cut override but why do yo ufeel yo u must have one ?,the cut tranny mod alone is 350 + for mmost shops ,when blasters are highly modifed they shift pretty well usually unlike a banshee
