Spark Arrestor

Ok, so i know they prevent sparks from coming out of my exhaust and burning down the forest, my question is are they built into the exhaust or do you slip it on, and finally, does my F7 have one and if not which one will fit and about how much do they cost and whats a good place to buy one from?

well most stock pipes already have them, as far as aftermarket one toomey makes a kit to clip on theres, fmf offers a silencer with it built right in on most of there models, as does pro circut, most other pipe makers offer inserts, and cobra and sparks offer slip on sparkys for almost all pipes.

The Factory Seven silencer is not spark arrested, However there are plenty of companies that do such as FMF, DMC etc...

so i called up project blaster and they had no idea if it came with a spark arrestor or if they sold a slip on, so then i called up power pros and they said they sell it with one or i could send them my silencer and have one installed for like $30. Thing is thats paying $30 for a little metal screen, anyone got pics of their arrestor, i can do it myself i just need to know what size screen to use, as in size of gaps in screen.

I have done them myself before, I would reccomend just buying a new one, or better yet having that company doing it for the $30.
Where are you planning on riding this??

if you are riding somewhere that requires a SA, then they may check if it is USFS stamped and a homemade one wouldnt be, so that may not be the way to go.

I cant remember if it was alba racing or somewhere else that sold a screen that also came with the forest service sticker. Anyone know if the still do?
