alright, heres the vid. the carb has no choke, when i reach over to the left fender its becasue i have a primer over there that just pumps fuel into the intake.

im getting the axle sometime next week and i want need it to run by then! its not my bike, somebody is paying me to build it for them, it needs to get done!

the only thing i forgot to o when cleaning the carb was check if the floats actually float, that could be my problem, its a REALLY old carb that came from canada.

are you serious? im not going to buy a new carb becasue this one is jetted wrong, a carb is a carb. the only difference between this and one with a choke is that it drilled for a choke and this one isn't. priming raw fuel into it works just as good or better than a choke...

im thinking this may have something to do with the 80$ port job i got on ebay...

the port came out pretty nice ill post pics later

ok, my buddy keeps his stock blaster at my house, and hes outa town so i borrowed his carb and it still doesn't run on a stock carb, it does better, but still wont actually start up and idle and run properly. so it could be 2 things, either i put the reeds on upside down(dual stages, wrong stage first maybe?) or my bargen 80$ port job wasn't such a good deal after all?

the reeds shouldnt make a difference either they will open either way. sounds electrical to me. there is a wire hat goes to the parking brake on newer years and if this curcuit is open or closed( cant remember) it will not run correctly.

so i put the stock reads on from my buddys bike and still no fire. i put the 34mm carb, dual stage reads and spacer on my buddys stock(stock other than an lrd pipe) blaster and it ran great. yet nothing will run on my bike? im thinking it has to be the porting?

iv tryed it while holding the park break switch closed and open, no difference.
