Default banshee rattling kick starter

everyone says these have that problem of the kick starter rattling like crazy. any one know of a quick easy fix to shut that damn thing up without going billet? tried just tightening it but no luck. thanks again Ed

I'll have to message him too. Mine was rattling when I bought it so I bought a rebuild kit for it. Then a month later it's dingling around again.

I've had holyman's repair kit on my kicker for a year and it hasn't rattled since i did it!!!!!

Ill tell ya what Ive been doing. a local farmer gave me a hand full of castrateing bands (thick rubber Orings) I replace the oring on the kicker with one of these and they last about 6-8 months. not a permanant fix but a cheap one

i have downlaoded holymans fix as well. y problem isnt so much the rattling, but the dam thing falling apart, like 5 times now. does his fix also take care of that?

good question. I have lost that little phillips head screw twice this season and lost the guts out of my kicker as well.
