banshee axles

how long is a stock banshee axle? i found a durablue for sale. the guy dosent know if it is stock, +2, or +4. all he knows is that it is 40 inches long end to end.

I have a stock axle layin around in my garrage so I went out and measured it and a stock banshee axle is 36.5 inches from very end to end. includeing the threads for the hub nut on the end.. I immagine that from spline end to spline end is 36 inches so you must be looking at a durablue +4 axle...

I dont know but I have a durablue +4 and deep offset rims on the back and my banshee just barely fits in my truck.. its like less than an eighth of an inch clearance...

Durablue has been around for years and has a proven worth. I have a +4 that is still perfectly straight and my lower a-arms are rainbowing in the front from some harsh landings. I don't know anything about those G force ones but they look awesome too.

You still have to pay to have it restraightened everytime right? I know the durablue ones can bend once. They will replace it once. After that you are on your own. If you read the crap that comes with the durablue one it says that.

Sounds like the Axcalibar might be a better buy in the long run, but I'm thinking it's gotta be pretty damn hard to bend any of them if my fat ass hasn't done it yet. I need to take a new pic of my a-arms to let you see how bad the lower ones are bending. It's because I bottom the shocks out in the front (need to be revalved and new springs for my weight), but still that axle has been taking a beating and it's still all good.
