| Its starting to get cold out. My 125 was doing that and i just rejetted it. Thats probably your problem. Get a size or 2 smaller jet. Cold Air = Denser so you dont need as much gas in the mixture.

| Yeah that's what i thought cause it was fine when we first put the exhaust on and jetted it when it was warm and yesterday was the first time i had ridden it in a month. I don't know that much about jetting so i'll have my aunt's boyfriend help me. Thanks ![]() |

| Cold weather requires richer (larger) jetting. If you go down on the jet sizes you will probably seize the motor. |

| While cold whether changes will affect the crisp feel of a throttle, it will not create the difference you're describing on an engine larger than 50cc's(from one days riding to the next in the same place at the same altitude). It will cause a slight hesitation, maybe a momentary bog, but it will actually make the engine feel MORE powerful as the lean condition increases with the dropping of temperature. Generally, an increase in jetting by one size will deal with this on an otherwise good engine. You description is not in the main jetting, however. Your main jet is utilised from around 2/3rds throttle to wide open. It sounds as though you may have an obstruction in the pilot and air jet area or something is up with your air filter. Check for any air leaks as well. |

| Not that i know a whole lot but mine did the same thing like a week ago and i had to adjust the fuel air screw i held mine like quarter throttle and backed it out untill she screamed. This might not be the best thing to do but it worked for me just my 2cents

| Yeah, we did that. It worked for a few hours, then it started doing the shit again. Wow, I guess I forgot about this topic. Maybe Flattrack can figure it out or something... I'm not good with this shit lol. |

| the area of jetting your trouble is in is pilot and needle clip position , ive had this happen and id say kanes right, if it ran good before this recent cold onset you ve got some cleanining to do inside that carb and open up that air box and clean your filter good ,is your tors b.s screwing you up? is your fuel old or gas can full of dead mice? winter is a great time to tear into your motor and do a genreal tune up on her anyways : new plug ,clean carb ,filter, new piston rings ![]()
