How Fast is a YZ250 Bone Stock?

Go with the rm, they are slow. Hey i was 15 and like 5'7 when i moved to a 250. My friend went from a Kx 80 to a Yz 250 when he was like 12 or 13 and he's still under 5'6 as we speak and he's 17. Twist isn't hard, u jsut twist the damn thing and hang on.

YZ250s rip alot more than a blaster though man Ive rode a few blasters and they were toys compared to my YZ. The YZ is a hell of alot funner and alot more powerful. I could see a YZ250 scaring the shit out of someone whos used to a blaster when the 250s in 3rd gear.

Get a YFZ 450 dirt bike. HELLACIOUS top end...90 plus.

we sitt here talkin about speed on these bikes.. 70 80 even 90 mph.. but if you think about it.. somewhere out there. there is some dumbass goin 170 on his street bike down the highway.. lol..

id say around 75-80 on that bike.

i was topped out on my banshee going downs the road and a guy i was riding with has a crf450r and he flew by me like i was sitting still...on a wheelie!!!! i was like wtf!!??? and my banshee is really fast...soo fast my face flaps and my vision goes blurry when flying down the road 6th pinned...those 450's are something else...

2000 yamaha yz250 in stock form on Ice hit 85.8 mph using radar

with 14/48 gearing, PC silencer w/ stock pipe & VF3 reeds= 89.6 mph.

on dirt stock gearing = 89.9 mph
with 14/48, silencer, & VF3 Reeds = 92.6mph

Man how hard was that? this thread has been going on for how long ! I've got two Yz 250's but have not ever checked the top speed .I was ready the next warm day to get on the road in front of the house with the radar gun & let it rip,still might just for the hell of it !

i like the rms but my 2001 yz 250 would do 76 but not stock, and never seen a blaster only if i stopped.... lmao
