Default 1998 Yamaha Banshee Front/Rear Sprockets,

Hey i got a 98 shee, just replaced chain, front, and rear sprockets. The bike shop i went to said that the standard sprockets for my shee was 14 front and 41 rear. I also got some new Maxxis RZR2's 22" tires for the rear. Since this my top end is pathetic (2005 banshee with 2 ppl on it pulls away and im left behind revving out), the original front sprocket had 15 teeth and i could eat other banshees for breakfast on the top end.
Is the sprocket teeth causing me the topend problems? The bottom end is a little gutsier.
From when i got this bike a few months ago, it goes harder than any other banshee ive ridden.
Only mod is no airbox snorkel and a K&N filter.

Help appreciated.

Thanks

Cody

well the 15 tooth front sprocket and big 22" tires are killign your acceration. a taller tire is faster not quicker. same with a 15 tooth front sprocket. more for top spped kind stuff then taking off. what are you more interested in top spped or beign quick off teh line????

Sorry they are 20" rears. Typo. I want decent top end so i can ride along side my mates with banshees, i ride in sand pits and jump, so low end isnt really an issue. With the 15t front the top end was awesome, was alongside my mates car @ 140k/m. What would you suggest for more topend?
Also my shee seems to get pretty warm when working it in the sand pit, spewins coolant out sometimes, the shop i got it from said it was the old tires, but i replaced em (rzr2s) and still happens. IM gunna wire up an 8" terhmo fan to the back of the radiator and use the light relays to power it. I dont ride @ dusk/night anyways.

Yeh i reckon it is over revving. Hill climbs it gets hell warm, old gearing only got warm when u thrashed the f*ck out of it up massive hills with bald tires.
Thanks guys.
