rebuilding YZ250

Your talking like I haven't rode a 250 2 stroke before. I rode a RM250 and there fast and fun but you cant make it to the pits around here on one and expect to ride back without putting more gas in it so it makes a 250 2 stroke pretty much useless where I am. My buddy with the RM250 might beat me in the start but he wont beat me to the pits and back.

dude u should have kept the yz if your friend knows wat hes doing u will be eating roost all day long and ur friend will laugh at u the whole time but maybe hes like u no tuning experience what so ever and he will sell the bike but watever enjoy your wimpy bike lol

ha ha you'll only be eating roost for about 2 or 3 hours? what a shame lol i ride with a bunch of 4 pokers and it matters if ur cruising around or if ur WOT we all have to fill up around the same time . sometimes the 4pokes have a little more gas before we head back to fill up but who cares? point is if he gets it running you'll be eating roost all day long .

you act is if the 250 2 stroke is a fuel hog.. i'll tell ya first hand. that it IS NOT.

buudy of mine (names brandon) has a 450F both have a 2.1 gallon tank. we went out riding in the mine dumps by my house. he ran out of gas 15 miles before i did riding the same agressive pace and the same trails.. so to tell me that you wont make it on a 2 stroke but ya can make it on a 4 stroke is god damn horse shit. and as for mixing oil, hell i bring a 6oz bottle of premix with me. doesn't take much to pop the cap off dump the oil in and fill it up.

get an education. and just the fact that you no longer have or are planning on rebuilding the yz, this thread has lived it's purpose, now let it die.

We have one & still running fine & kicks over quick.. Havent changed anything on it besides normal maintenance.
Not ridden everyday but rides hard/fast when it does..
